I am having a problem with my journey to the Village.

I earned my old man visit, found the old man, spoke with him,got my crystal, and watched him leave.

Now looking at the various guides online by right clicking my journal entry I should see:

Find the Old Man (Completed)

and Protect the Crystal

Protect the Crystal being an attack by sith.

Well all I have in my journal is "Find the Old man" as Completed and nothing about 'Protecting the crystal.

I have run around near towns for two days with no sign of either the old man or the sith. I submitted a customer service ticket but anyone who has done this knows how uselessit is. I received yet another famous 'Sorry, cant help, try bugging it for other people." reply.

So I turn to my fellow players. I think I am bugged but if anyone can varify this or tell me a workaround I would appreciate it.

If it makes you feel any better, I have the crystal but nothing in the quest log at all

I had the same problem, your not bugged..you just have to give it time. My quest journal was empty too, sith showed up the next day. Just play as you normally do..and they will come. Just be patient.

FWIW:

I hadn't been attacked by the Sith for 2 days and was getting frustrated. I shuttle hopped to EVERY player city on Tat and Lok. I got more frustrated and tired, and one time, after shuttling into a city, i did a "/meditate". As soon as my character started to meditate, the sith appeared and attacked.

I am NOT saything that this works every time, I am just mentioning that this was the sequence of events that caused the attack to me.

I believe the journal doesnt update till after the sith attack(if i remember mine correct). What i did to get them to attack was just keep shuttling around to player cities every so often.

i had the same thing happen no sith after the old man. i shuttled to a player city and went out of town and camped. had to log for work and when i logged in next day and started running around sith attacked. then i went to the camp and now im in the village on dathomir. just be patient or try shuttling around and wandering in the areas outside of cities, you have to be outside of the city limits to get the visits.

Neg you do not have to be outside city limits most people get there sith they shuttle in. But for the rest is true be patient and shuttle around some.

There was a post in the jedi forums telling you what you needed to do. If I remember correctly they said to log in, travel to a town (a player town prefered) then travel 1000 meters outside of the town, kill something, travel back to the town, log out, log in.

What I did.

I logged in, traveled to a player down on tat, started to walk to AH, and before I left town I saw two sith, took a second for it to register in my head that they were MY sith. Killed them, got a data pad, traveled to the wp on the datapad. Killed more sit, got the wp for the village.

my both chars were attacked by sith on endor almost as soon asthey arrived there

in both cases i was living as usual and minding my own business - alx was there to hunt spiders for the meat, orew was visiting his harvestors

My buddy got jumped by the Sith when we shuttled into a player city near the Warren. Just a data point.
