Thread: 8 weeks until I can get enough quests done for Jedi

I was given 2 free unlocks when I started. Howerver it's going to be 8 weeks from now until I can get enough skill trees unlocked to get the skills I need for Jedi, and that's if I just do what ever skills I can instead of the ones I want to do. That means taking Ranged accuracy, that's uselss for me

I feel like I'm being held back, at the moment I'm sitting here thinking of quiting because the game is getting quite boring. I can't work on the master of a Crafting proffession like I want to because I know I would have to drop it sooner or later, I would love to work my way to the top of a crafting profession and open a little shop.

Is there anything I can do to get to Jedi quicker?

I assume it's too late to master professions in hope to get more free rows, is this right?

Do what I did. Just quit. Do you really think you'll have as much fun from being a jedi as to compensate for 8 weeks of funless grinding and the doctor's bills from getting repetetive stress disorder?

I'm more in it for an extra character slot. Jedi is a little bonus

quickest way to get your jedi......

go buy jedi knight 2 or Jedi knight : Jedi academy

if you dont like the new system dont do it, if you want to open a shop then play a crafter profession and open a shop. try playing the game instead of looking at everything as a grind and a chore. also read the really good guide in game guide forum it will explain a lot.

Looks like I might be taking holidays from the game for 2 weeks, then 1 day back, then 3 weeks more holidays etc.

Why not just make ur primary character the jedi then use ur second toon to make ur little shop? That's not that hard, and yes the grind is going to be hard, but I know people that did not get any freebies. Be glad you got some freebies, 8 weeks is a long grind, but I'm sure it's longer than when you endlessly craft items for exp. I would take that into consideration, and realize the benifits of having 2 toons on a server. It's worth it, and having a combat profession, and a crafting profession will be real easy.

This game was never intended for the number of jedi we already have. This was suposed to be a GCW/econemy SW game. But somehow the devs decided to screw the GCW up so bad that nobody wanted to participate in it....then focus on the exact thing they shouldn't be which is jedi. Now u've got a game trying to be played by 90% of the server the EXACT opposite of its original intent(evryone being a jedi) and they're all pissed off cause they can't grind it out in 3 days. Fix the GCW and combat so we can all play the game like it should be....and for all u grinding ur way to a pathetic jedi....i feel sorry for u cause I know ur not enjoying the game. I however am and eagerly await the rebalnce and JTLS. Jedi grind is pointless and nothing more than a second job.

One of the main things that I'm after is the extra character slot. This will allow me to have one combat character, probably a combat prof and Ranger or something.

This way, my other character can concentrate on crafting without having to surrender skills to get better at combat

It doesn't take that long to get Jedi in Kotor either.

If a second character is what you want, it's probably less time and effort to just buy another account. Unless your time is worth no money at all, probably much cheaper as well.

Or, for no extra money, make an alt on another server for your crafter and make a whole new set of friends and enemies.
