Thread: Question about New Force Skills

Ok, I thought I have read through all of the info but apparently I am missing something. I got 4 free branches when i got to the village, melee accuracy, melee speed, melee defense, and ranged defense. Also I have done the combat mission from Captain Surguillo Now I want to get the other 2 lines in the Reflex tree, Survival and Vehicle Control. I finally got enough xp to train in one of the first level boxes but he tells me there's nothing I can learn from him. What do I need to do to be able to train again. I thought the different phases of the village let you unlock the different trees, not specific branches.........but apparently I'm wrong. Do I have to wait for phase 1 to come around again (12 weeks) to unlock the survival line? And if so who do I speak with? Also, since I did the combat missions, can I train in either of the 2 combat lines....ranged accuracy or ranged speed?
Any help would be appreciated......Thanks

It is a phase per branch not tree. You can only unlock 1 branch per phase.

Capt Surg. mission will unlock the ranged accuracy tree in combat prowess....survival line in enhanced reflexes is unlocked by whip, not capt. surg. vehicular control line can't be unlocked until phase 2

Where can I find this info on who unlocks what skill in which phase? And who do I talk to to unlock vehicle control in phase 2?

did I understand your question.
You got 4 free unlocks and used them.
You did capt. surg. mission (ranged accuracy line from combat prowess) which is your 1 unlock for phase 1.
but you wanted to unlock a line in enhanced reflexes.......
If I am reading that right, then yes you needed to do whip's missions instead of capt. surge. unfortunately that means you have just missed the chance to unlock survival until phase 1 comes back around in about 2 months. You have no choice but to train in ranged accuracy or save your xp for 2 more weeks and unlock vehicle control in phase 2.

Yep, you understood it perfectly, and thanks for the info. I guess I'm not as bad off as I thought. I can train up in ranged accuracy and then in phase 2 I can train up in vehicle control and then be done with it. I HOPE
Oh, and let me make sure so I don't mess up again. In phase 2, I can talk to Whip and do his missions to get vehicle control??
