Honestly, people with throw up a poorly thought out/explained3 sentence post asking a question that is either :
1) answered in a post on the same PAGE
2) answered in a sticky at the top of the forum
3) easily found using search and a little time(having 85476309 posts asking the same thing makes searching that much harder)
There are so few posts that raise new questions or provide usefull information now. I use to enjoy my time combing over the forums droping info here and there where I knew I could provide something constructive or learning new info to pass on. Now people will spout off and :
1) flame anyone for anything under any/all conditions
2) Provide very vague information but enough to show that 'you' know the answer but not enough to answer it
3) speak about rumors as if they are 100% fact and create a snowball of bad info
The condition/quality of the forum comunity has gone strait down the sh*t*r. /rant off
I know this is not exactly a 'constructive' post but we the comunity need to push people to spend 20minutes searching before making a new post. Obviously the rediculos amount of pointless Pub10 questions has been the straw that broke the cammels back for me. Although even before this it has been getting progessivly worse.
Bottom line: SEARCH FIRST

I use search myself, but it doesn't work 90+% of the time. why?...
"There are too many searches in progress. Please try again later."
Almost every single time you try to perform a search of the forums.

Hey genius before you start putting so much time into a post...realise that half the time it tells ya too many searches in progress. This happens 95% of the time. So when people are logged in and in a pinch for info for a quick response, they post something.
If the posts bother you that much;
A) Get some exercise, you may mellow out.
B) Leave your house once every week.
C) Stop wasting bandwith on the boards with Ahole posts like this.
Who made you moderator?

a bit harsh on your post - but agreed to a certain degree.
I agree you need to at least search the current page or two, and I use the search option as well, but I often get the "timed out" message. Honestly, if someone posts another message you've already seen just pass over it. Is it really that hard to do? Or do you feel you're a better person by ranting them off in your post? We're all a community here, help the slower players out and either pass over it , or....go out of your way and show them a link to a post that would help them out
Just a thought. Thanks.

I think there is something wrong with the search function. Ideally, yes it should be used instead of reposting everything, but even when I search at 1:00 in the morning, it is not uncommon for me to get the "to many searches in progress" message. I have a hard time believing that at 1:00 in the morning there could be too many people searching. But then again, maybe there are.

Otse Said:Hey genius before you start putting so much time into a post{Who said I spent alot of time making that post?}...realise that half the time it tells ya too many searches in progress.{That sucks
Itworks fine for me both at home and work 99% of the time. Honestly don't take that coment out of context, that does suck} This happens 95% of the time. So when people are logged in and in a pinch for info for a quick response, they post something. {Some of the posts fall under the 'pinch' situation, by no means the flood we have seen recently}
If the posts bother you that much;
A) Get some exercise, you may mellow out. {I can see you are working out hard you'reself at the moment
}
B) Leave your house once every week. {Look above}
C) Stop wasting bandwith on the boards with Ahole posts like this. {I reconized that it was not a 'constructive' post and put a positative end to it, which is more then you did}
Who made you moderator? {Who made you moderator? ... And if you got a mod to respond here, I would bet in general they would agree with what I had to say}

Well now I know why Otse got a lil verbal here. The post hit a little close to home for him/her and took it personally. Otse is having/had problems with the new Pub 10 content and was understandably upset over it. However Otse is guilty of posting (Starting new threads)the same stuff that was all over the place. Had one locked even. So who is guilty of wasting bandwidth?
And yes I'm horribly bored atm
