I recently bought a 3PO droid and was wondering how i can program its name, i tried the normal way (teaching it 4 commands with the name) but the name stayed the same... anyone have an idea how i can do this?

You can't. Currently the humanoid robots (that are programmed via conversation) can't have thier name changed.
