Hopefully I can get some help on this here, thus far it has been like yelling into a black hole...
Okay, so I got two SWG accounts. I got the second one to start a shipwright, which I have been slowly grinding for apx two months now.
I am now 2/1/2/2 shipwright and can never find my draft schematic numbers! They are totally out of order and I have no way of finding what I want to build. It used to be the order in which they were in my datapad was an indicator, then I could just pick a random number and then look in my datapad to see where that was add up or down and get my schematic. Now there is no rhyme or reason to them, they are all over the damn place.
Any thoughts as to how I can get control of this? I am tired of changing my macro to every 3rd number then checking it to see if I am close to my Y-wing chassis!
Is this a shipwright only issue? I don't seem to have problems with my rangers schematics (although he only has like 10)
Am I the only one experiencing this?

It's probably due to the new sorting scheme of players' inventory and datapad. Before that, looking at the datapad had the schematics in draftSchematic order. Now the default is alphabetical.
The next publish (currently on Testcenter) will add an toggle to put sorting back to the old order. Until then, the only way to guess is to tweak the number you pass selectdraftschematic, and try to find the general area of schematics in the same skill box as the Y-wing chassis, then adjust by smaller amounts. If you remember what order you learned the skill boxes, that might help figuring out if you're too high or too low.

Ahhh okay, so now they are sorted by when the schematic was received and then alphabetically?
I cannot wait for them to change it back. I have like 130 schematics!

I have an idea..when you open a crafting tool (food&chem, weapon, droid, etc) why can't each item have a small number listed next to it...that would be the schematic number for that particular tool...
Do you guys think this would work? Feasible?

The best way to do this is to change the command from /selectdraftschematic to /ui action defaultbutton
Now just start your crafting tool and select what you want to craft manually. It can sometimes help to make the first one by hand.
The next time you run the macro, the last thing you crafted will be selected and the "defaultbutton" command will just advance the tool to the resource selection screen.
This is so much easier than the 'selectdraftschematic' method because you don't have to modify your macro every time something changes. The only difference is that you have to select the one you want to craft manually the first time you do it.

the other option you have is to go to options and uncheck sort datapad items automatically should revert then, or at least stop changing whenever you get a new schematic
