Thread: Who gets the rights to loot bodies

Hi I'm a new player to SWG.


I have heard numerous opinions, while in-game. But, can someone tell me please, how are the rights to looting a body decided? In the book that comes with the CDs it states that the player who does the most damage has the rights. But I've heard conflicting reports from players in-game, such as the first person to get to the body gets looting rights. What is the correct answer here?

Nope the book is right. The person who does the most damage gets to loot.

...so long as your not in a group, then whoever loots first, as everyone in a group has access to a kill (harvesting/looting).
