Looking for people's opinion. Now that Ubese shirts and belts have hit points, where should I place my AA's? On gloves and boots? And what about CA's? I've read in some people's post that you never get hit in the legs and its ok to wear clothing for your legs. Any ideas?

I still use the ubese shirt. In PvE I never die and in PvP you don't take item decay from cloning... so mine never lose condition . Even if you do take deaths.. do you really rack up 100 that fast?

your best bet would be to put them in the bank until the mess is clarified

if you must use them... imho the best place for AA is on bracer and bicep - they seldom get damage and having your better AA on them is the main reason you see people wearing them

anyway... if you have uber AA then really keep them in the bank!

yeah - keep your uber AA in the bank until they stealth change them so you can't put them into anything anymore. But all AAs/CAs put into something may or may not decay and may or may not be deleted b/c of zero condition - however they will work until such a time as they don't, but you will never be informed/notified/warned/querried of such time. Meanwhile continue to spend millions on them b/c they are one of the few bits of individuality available to you.

and btw - don't bother asking about this in the armorsmith forum b/c it's a tailor forum question and don't bother asking in the tailor forum b/c it's an armorsmith question.

And please do not wait to use the AA until the combat rebalance where you may not in fact be able to where that current piece of armor you may or may not have placed the AA into.

And certainly don't wait for on an inquiry if the community was actually informed of such changes prior to pub 10 because as stated above you will never be informed/notified/warned/querried of such changes andthe time and money you have put into SOE belongs only to SOE and has no dollar value and we reserve the right to change things at any time as we see fit.

And by all means do not wait for an official statement from SOE on this silly issue.

A SEA will still carry its enhancements after the HP of said item has reached a condition of 0 or beyond....

I have a set of pantaloons with some mods on it and the condition of them is in the negatives, the mods work asgood as ever.

My main AA's Ive put in my bracers. They last by far the longest. I put my CA's in a formfitting shirt, then put my pvp suit and shirt in a droid for storage when i pve. They wont decay in there, and the full armor suit and shirt are a total of 10 pieces, just enough to fit in a droid. If you keep your pvp armor in a hotkey box, they will pop out when you arm them, even if in the droid. Its a bit of a hassle still, but it'll keep your stuff in mint condition.

Timeline:

June 03 - April 04: not all items have condition; items still work

April 04 - Sept 04: items that had no condition are now red - meaning no(zero) condition; items still work: community not told of change

Sept 04 - present: wearable items that were crafted as zero condition now are crafted with condition, now are not considered armor, but armorsmiths make them; items still work: community not told of change

Future - whereas we cannot predict the future, the best forecasts aremade by analyzing past performance= zero condition items no longer equippable: community not told

my position related to this issue is several:

a. these are the high end items people play/pay for

b. we were never told of such a fundamental change in loot; we are now caught in this current climate of what to do with these things we've saved, exacerbated by the impending combat rebalance.

c. i have no problem with decay and having zero condition items not equippable

d. i will haveproblem when they make a shirt i've been wearing for close to a year that when originally designed/made did not have condition, then was made to have zero condition, and then is made unequippable. if they want to give it condition of 1000/1000 i will find that an acceptable compromise.

I know many of you feel this way, I have read it so many times, but this is the first time I am saying it:

in my goal to be the best, I have put my time and energy into seeking these items (insert skills if you like)out.when they are changed and we are not notified, I take this to mean that they are inconsiderate to me as a customer and why I spend my time to play this game.
