Thread: need help with corvette rescue mission

hi, i have soloed the imperial destroy mission and completed in 5 mins so i know where the things are and can find my way around.. i have tried to solo the rescue too but when i tried to go into to the room that has the terminal to unlock the elevator its door was locked and warnned me about it disabled and the door wouldnt open.. i almost got killed and barely got my a** to the escape pods
please tell me how to unlock the door to the room that unlocks the elevator

I presume you have read Jasho's Complete Guide to the Corvette.
And I also assume the door u mean is the one that Jasho refers to using his "trick". Now it does not work 100% of the time, so should it fail - you have to do it the old fashioned way - ie: do the SBD Gauntlet in the engine room and unlock the Meeting Room (that holds the controls to unlocking the Elevator). I have experienced this myself and had to do it the old fashioned way at times.
One thing, I am surprised that you should ask this question since you claim to have completed the Destroy mission (in 5 mins). Jasho's guide does state the alternative solution quite clearly.

A. Get droid reserve part on first floor.
B. Drop it on droid on subfloor 1 in the engine room. (Can't be aggroed for this part)
C. Unlock the meeting room.
