Yeah.. this is a newb question. My alt is strictly crafting and runs a mining operation. I keep getting him killed while checking harvestors. Meatlumps, Swoopers, Butterflies.. you name it.

I bought a baby Gurrcat off a BE vendor and I'm trying figure out how to train him so I can send him in to the meatlumps to wipe them out.

Do I have to have a CH do it?

Considering how cheap buffs are it's probably easier just to get buffed.

Remember the pet must be CL10 or under for you to ba able to control it. Your other option is a combat droid. You can set either of them to guard you and they will follow you around and attack anything that attacks you.

if you do get a combat droid, send it to attack the mobs before you go in. if it's just guarding you, most of the mobs will still attack you, if the droid goes in first it draws all fire and you should be safe (side not, don't have to get off your bike to do harv stuff, so that should help with emergency getaways heh)

Until you can keep a buffing doc in your datapad this isnt really true.

They scream a lot at first, but once the air starts to run out, they calm down quite a bit.
Be careful when you pull them out because they'll try to escape as soon as their feet hit the ground!
