Hi all,

Quick question for you folks in the know:

The hunting missions on Explorer mission terminals -what's the scoop? There's no waypoint, and not even a start planet. Am I to understand that the idea is you just have to know where (in the whole galaxy) to find the creatures you're supposed to be hunting?

Surely not?

basically how they work.

they are designed for rangers so you can track the animal listed.

the missions do not give waypoints but will be for creatures specific to the planet you took the mission from.

if you took a mission to kill say 45 sentry hermit spiders, you need to kill exactly that, sentry hermit spiders, not hermit spiders or hermit spider aggressors etc only the creature listed on the mission requirements. you will get a number indicator telling you how many you have left to kill to complete the mission each time you kill one of the creatures listed. once you killed the amount needed you get the money.

simple.

they are useless. the payouts are way to low to be worthwhile for the amount of creatures killed.. 45 mtn squills for 15k.... yea, right.

you are better grouping and running the best missions you can get. the only time they are worthwhile is if you are going cross country on a kill spree. then you might pick up some extra cash for killing something along the way. but more often, you just end up deleting the mission and taking a real one.
