Did a search for topics concerning this. In light of recent events, involving the griefing where someone can 'steal' someone's droid or pet..none ofthe topics seemed to answer my question. I have tried to report everyone I see who is trying to 'steal' a droid.I'll type in /report <playername> but each time it says something like "No reports have been sent in involving them. Please make sure the name is spelled correctly." or something like that..can't remember exactly.
So how do you report someone if this keeps happening or at least..what am I doing wrong?

i posted in your other /report post how to report someone. try not to double post in the future. Btw you can't steal someones droid. your either transfering accidentally [check your transfer command] or something, but you can't steal someones droid.

I think stealing droids could be considered harrasment so open your holocron and submit a harrasment ticket on them, I did that the other day when some immature kid was being abusive and a CSR responded very quickly and spoke to me about the problem.

The holocron says the type "/report <player's name>" to get a CSR. You can also submit an harassment ticket but this has proven not to work becuase the CSR needs to see it happen or else they can not do anything about it as they have no proof. I even asked one to check my and my friend's spatial logs to see our converstion witha BH (he admitted he was griefing) who was repeadedly killing my Jedi friend and our doc with a broken TEF but they couldn't do that either. The /report command is your best shot. Anyone with other ideas please let me know as griefing has got to stop.

Yes you can. It's an exploit, allowing people to drag your droid far far away. In order to find it again, you have to store and recall it. Griefers are doing to to newbie helper droids, as well as barker droids, crafting droids, and doctor's droids ( used for buffing). I hope that exploit gets fixed soon...

actually there is currently a bug that allows someone to call your droid out and make it follow you. I dont' know how its done but i have seen someone greifing everyone in starport last weekend. He stole the doctor that was buffings droid and several others from anyone that passed his line of site.

only time i ever seen this happening, is a buddy that was using his jedi char using mind trick on the droids to get them to follow him, and pets. Not really an exploite or bug. just a greaf.

There are a couple of emote commands that you can do to pets. They will work on anyone's pets. It's not really stealing. The player doing this does not really own the pet stolen. But, they can force a pet to leave the area.
/pet, /reassure, /nuzzle or /hug a pet and it will either perform a "happy" animation, or it will sit, or it will lay down.
You can /bonk, /whap, /scold, /bad or /slap a pet and it will perform an "ashamed" animation.
You can /pointat or /tap a pet to make it perform the 'alert' animation.
Using /_____ or /_____ on a pet will either make it look confused, or will make it follow you.
Note: I left that follow command blank. I don't want to have more people grief others. But, it is fun on guild mates.
