Something similar happened to me. Just group with someone that is doing this mission too.

Happened to me too. I went in was alone, got killed by the creatures before getting to the champion. Now I can't get in anymore and the chief keeps telling me I should. I wrote tickets, bug reports ect. but nothing has happened.

you are supposed to let the wookie live

You don't have to let the wookiee live at all. I killed him in order to get the Outcast quests. If you talk with the chief about the challenge and act like the killing was a mistake you will get a new quest to revive the champion and not get banned from the village. If you show no remorse for killing the champion then you will get banned from the village.
You miss out on the badge and champion sword but the outcast quests lead to a nice rifle and the outcast badge instead.

Ok I figured out how to get back into the arean after you leave without killing him. Go with somone who has not gone before, speak to the wookie in the area before anyone else does and it will activate your quest not the guy you went in with. Then the guy you went in with won't get credit and had to do the same to some other poor sap. Not a very Jedi thing to do and I found out by accident. So I killed the Wookie in the arean, got scolded by the chief and told him I don't know what came over me..blah blah blah...He sent me on a quest to revive the wookie I beat into a coma. I was suspose to get a couple items for from the witchs but when I killed the witches I don't get anyting off them in terms of quest completing items. So I gave up. Poor wookie is stuck in a coma...

I think there are 2 bugs in this quest;

First: If you have a group, and if you have a group member who have the same arena quest, don't try to complete quest with that group member because the system send him out or your mission will unsuccessful and will be bugged.

Second: You need tou kill cretures first fast, than begin to hit Champion otherwise you can incapacitate the chapion andthat's cause a great problem. In real quest you need to spear his life when his condition is half.

I was bugged yesterdaysame like u but when I logg off and wait like 1 hour and then I log in my quest log refreshed and I took the quest from chief again an I completed and get the badge.

But the real problem is not this arena quest, the problem is how to talk to Keritemba Village elder ( He gives a quest that you get the badge ... Kerritemba Village Blood hunter)

Well I went there alone and I incapped the Champion but I wasn't able to do anything else on him from the radial after this. So I didn't kill it nor spared his life since I didn't get any option to do that. Then, I noticed that it checked as being done on the journal so I left the arena.

Now when I talked to the Chief again, it's been as if I never did that part. So I took it up once again (repeatedly) just to find out that right after talking to the Champion before the fight, it disappears, never to be seen again. So I'm stuck there, unable to keep on going with that quest.

Anyone got a solution to make it work right?
