Thread: Command Line use of Dice Possible?

I am a Master Smuggler on the Wanderhome server and I have created/adapted a casino game using artisan dice. Last night we played the game for a few hours to test it out (I would guess that two million credits changed hands last night alone) and the only thing I would like to see changed is the interface for using dice. Is there any way to use a slash command (/dice, /rolldice, etc) to roll the dice rather then waiting for the radial to come up and selecting from there? It really slows things down when the player has to right click, hold it down until the menu pops up the , then select roll, hold it down, then select the number of dice. Any help you can provide me would be most appreciated.

I don't have the game here (stuck at work...boo!) but what happens to dice placed on the hotbar? Or is the default action "examine", which would be more than useless.

We tried the hotbar as well but,as you suspect, it defaults to examine. You would think that it should default to use (maybe even a pop-up window for number of dice like the ticket collector) but it doesn't

Sounds like a candidate for /feedback.

Think I'll submit some now.

Dude! Adding your own content? Share the rules. If only all parties in a group could see the results of a role.

You can see other people's rolls. I've played dice games with folk, way back near launch (at the grand opening of the Star Dragon Inn. I lost a good 10k credits....)

Let me hammer out the quirks (And hopefully learn a "/" command to roll the cumbersome dice) and I'll post the rules after that.

theres gotta be a "/" command for that, I mean theres one for literally every thing else in this game...I'm curious too, I'll check as well.

Ouch! 10K shortly after launch is like 1 mil credits now.
