Thread: My Theory on the Holocredit

We already know what the holocredit will be for those who unlocked between 9 and 10, they receive all the FS blocks opened and all the experiance needed to move on to padawan. However what will the reward be for those that grinded out the professions and didn't unlock? This is where my theory comes in.......

There are 6 blocks that must be unlocked... There were 4 professions you were told to grind out, so my theory is that you are credited one of the blocks per one of the holo professions completed, but you are not awarded the xp. Since there are 6 blocks we are not made instant padawans like the ones that unlocked between the patches, but we are given a fair and just head start.

The people that grinded out and didn't unlock shouldn't get any reward simply because they didn't unlock.

Its already been proven that character that did not unlock if they meet some hidden requirements (i.e. probably professions) will get to skip some of the quests. Meaning they can go straight to the xp grind.

Okay, so based on your logic and response, I present you with: And the people who didn't participate in the HoloGrind shouldn't get Jedi simply because they didn't want to play the hand they were delt.

Now isn't that just silly? Those who participated in the grind were closer to obtaining the slot than those who didn't, so why shouldn't they get a leg up?

IMO I think this is a better theory:

To unlock u need 6 full blocks, that equalls 24 FS skill boxes (6 blocks x 4 skillboxes in each block).

Giving one skillbox for every profession u have mastered IF u have reached a silent holo, would seem fair i think. What i mean: If a person has mastered 17 professions (for arguments sake), lets say he got a quiet holo after the seventh profession mastered, he would calculate all 17 professions, and gotten 17 FS skillboxes. He needs seven more to become FS, which he gets buy doing the FS quests. If he has done 5 proffessions and hasent got a silent holo shouldnt get any credit for their profs, since mastering them wasnt part of the path to become a jedi.

This way, people the have just gotten the silent holo would still have a long way to go, while people having grinded 20+ professions arent far away from unlocking. Fair?

If it is true and badges are worth "points" and you need a certain amount of points to gain entry to the village I think they should just make pre-publish 10 proffession badges worth 2x or 3x more than post-publish 10 proff badges

That sounds like a possibility as well. Very much along my line of thought. I don't know though about getting boxes that require XP though, because then that would be to similar to the Jedi that were unlocked between 9 and 10

Here's the way I would think about breaking it down:

Holo #1 = Completed Phase #1 Quests

Holo #2 = Completed Phase #2 Quests

Holo #3 = Completed Phase #3 Quests

Holo #4 = Completed Phase #4 Quests

Two Mastered Professions = ONE FS Tree Unlock

One Mastered Profession = One FSSkill Box

So, if I have completed all 4 known Holos, I can start to Unlock my 6+ FS Trees that I need in order to get my 24 FS Skill Boxes. Now, presuming I want to do 6 trees all the way to level 4.

12 Mastered Professions would open the 6 FS Trees I chose.

1-20 Mastered Professions open up to 20 FS Skill boxes.

Now, I have mastered 24 professions. So, I would have my 6 FS Trees open, and then 12 of my 24 FS Skills done. Then I can convert my current EXP's to FS exp and grind my last 12 boxes of FS.

Of course I would love to be furnther along in the system, but I think this would be a fair compensation.
