Okay, I realize what they are (clothing attachment and armor attachment), and I know that armor and clothing have sockets to put them in, but there are all sorts of things i don't understand.
1. People talk of being capped...how do i know when I am capped? If you are a Master Swordsman are you capped in speed, damage, etc for using 2 hand weapons? I believe people are using them even at Master.
2. Stacked. What the heck does that mean? Does this mean I can stack two CA of 2 hand speed on the same piece of clothing? or on different pieces of clothing?
3. I also hear of people talking about cancelling something out by using another attachment...how does this work?..why do you need to cancel something out?
4. What is the best way to use these? I realize that armor decays quite quickly when grinding alot so putting a nice attachment on there seems to be a waste if you're paying some of the prices I've seen lately and obviously you can't take them off and save them?
5. Can crafters make these or are they only dropped? It seems that a lot of what i see people doing is going to a few places and trying to out damage another group to get the "drops" of certain NPCs, but if the high level crafters could make these the market wouldn't be so crazy for the attachments i guess.
6. Last question. But different topic. Obviously power ups are used on weapons a lot. With the Anti-Decay kit can you use a Power-Up and then use the Anti-Decay kit...will the Power up now stick?
Sorry for such a noob question...i have just never found the info on the forum anywhere to read and i always seem to get good info when asking the specific questions here.
I'm sure I have other questions, but can't think of them now.

For anyone else whom is looking for this information and can't find it...I finally did (you can only imagine what a search for ca or aa brought up).

1. People talk of being capped...how do i know when I am capped? If you are a Master Swordsman are you capped in speed, damage, etc for using 2 hand weapons? I believe people are using them even at Master.
Capping means you have reached a point where no matter how much more of that skill you add you wont benefit from it. Capping speed means you have enough speed attatchments to hit every possible special once per second, for swordsman 95 speedand for rifleman 97 iirc. Capping melee/ranged defence means you have 125, which is a hard cap to that skill. There are other caps as well, do an advanced search if you want to find out more about them.
2. Stacked. What the heck does that mean? Does this mean I can stack two CA of 2 hand speed on the same piece of clothing? or on different pieces of clothing?
What is usually referred to as stacking is picking up various defences from different professions to "stack" them. This can be done for melee/ranged defence but also state defences and to some extent dodge/counter attack.
3. I also hear of people talking about cancelling something out by using another attachment...how does this work?..why do you need to cancel something out?
If you have a CA with for example +11 berserk and +10 two handed speed you would really want teh two handed speed, but unfortunately you cannot chose, the highest modifier on teh CA will stick. To "cancel" the berserk out you would need a berserk CA with a higher modifier than +11 and put it in the piece of clothing first, then add the one with +11 berserk and +10 two handed speed, by doing this the two handed speed will stick and you have "cancelled out" the berserk.
4. What is the best way to use these? I realize that armor decays quite quickly when grinding alot so putting a nice attachment on there seems to be a waste if you're paying some of the prices I've seen lately and obviously you can't take them off and save them?
Mabari belts takes AAs last time i checked, but that was a long time ago. If you want the piece of armor that wears the least you would want to put your AAs in abicep.
5. Can crafters make these or are they only dropped? It seems that a lot of what i see people doing is going to a few places and trying to out damage another group to get the "drops" of certain NPCs, but if the high level crafters could make these the market wouldn't be so crazy for the attachments i guess.
There has to be some kind of endgame, if crafters could make everyhing and there was no lewt a lot of long time players would leave cause they reached the point where they was as good as they could be.
6. Last question. But different topic. Obviously power ups are used on weapons a lot. With the Anti-Decay kit can you use a Power-Up and then use the Anti-Decay kit...will the Power up now stick?
Dunno

anything with limited uses like pups or dots will continue to lose uses in an anti-decay kit
