No it wont. Only the highest mod will take effect and you will use up one socket.
So in your example you will only have +3, regardless of what order you put the AAs in.

If I have a +3 riflespeed AA in my ubese shirt, and put a +1 in it to, will it equal +4?

I was asking a simmler question the other day, the above post is correct , but you can add your +1 to your Hat +3 to your shirt and that will then make 4. You can do this with as many cothes/Armor items you are wearing.

Read the post. He's talking about putting the same mod in the same piece of clothing, which will just make the lower mod be lost.

I read it fine. I was trying to add extra information as tohow he can use both his tapes without overriding one of them. His question had be anwserd I was just trying to offer a little more info.
