Thread: avatar platform: soloable?

not directly asking if its soloable, but i want to know what cl the stuff you need to fight is, and how many you might have to face at one time?

One MDef solo'd the Avatar (before Jedi revamps) he used the wookies to agro the transdoshians.
Not sure how many was the most he had on him at once, but when I looked at his screen a couple times (we live together) there was about 5 on him.

Depending on the quest its soloable for pretty much any CL80 player provided they play it right.The imperial blood sample quest can be done if you stock up on good parawan and pikatta pie and be prepared to die a couple of times.
Using parawan and pikatta you can burst run around most of it, dragging the trandoshans onto the wookiees untill you get to the correct rooms, you only need to actually kill a few mobs so provided you have some defense and dmg output you should survive, however it isnt exactly the most fun way to do it. I by far prefer going up with a squad and killing everything up there and getting Jellyfish holos!

I did solo both, as a Jedi, but the trando one is harder.

i solo'd them all before the healing nerf on jedi lol....well, 1 and a half. i finished the trando one after that publish cuz i had killed the big wookie before the publish.

another added question, is it possible to go up there and raid the boxes for thepistols solo? or do you need to do quest parts to get acess to the loot boxes

its all an easy solo if you know whwat to do, but the big wook fight you will need friends

Anyone that has solo'd the Avatar try the revamped Corvette? I solo'd quite a bit of that with my Jedi the other day. The only time I died was when I tried to go into engine room full of SBDs... I had up to 6 level 80-82 "elites" on me a few times and killed them all. I also had 2 SBDs at once and killed them both..
I havent done avatar yet (or even gone up there yet) so I dont really know if its similar difficulty.

I beat it with myself(doc/tk) and a doc/tk and a doc /cm. and no we didn't run through it and drag wookiees onto trandos, we didn't want to take any chances with tons of agro

well i soloed the imp quest and the mini quest by burst running around 
but im mcm so i could heal myself to get the stuff..........on a side note i also respawned many times lol
for the trando version i got a group of about 6 lvl 80s no jedi

I soloed the Avatar.
You have to use the fact that Wookies and Trandos will fight, but it's still not easy. For instance, you have to outdamage the Trandos to get credit for killing the big wookie, so you can unlock your progress to destroy the place.

I solo'd the Destroy mission, I do have master defender, but it took 3 hours though with:
- no force cloak
- no wookie vs trando (good idea though)
- before Avoid Incap nerf and SAC/FC reductions
I simply chipped away, one trando by one keeping ahead of the respawn, all the way to the 4 meter wookie. To kill the wookie took a holocron and one use of my Hero Ring, but I got him...then promptly died. I was then able to use parawan nutricake to burst run through the destroy part, using Avoid Incap where needed.
Was pretty fun actually
