What is the deal, I saw jedi that was wearingA blacksun Ace helmet and was using force. but someone else told me it cant be done, because the helmet is treated as armor.
how did the jedi do it? is it an exploit?
The helmet has no stats so I don't see where it makes any difference.
Can anybody help?

There was a bug (now fixed, presumably) where the BS helm would count as armor and prevent you from using Force.

to be honest all pilot stuff are not considered armor. From black sun ace helmet to ace pilot helmets to your starter pilot suits they are not armor. Sure they look like armor but no they are not. Jedis can wear full tie suits or b-wing suits and have no impact on their force use or ls use. This is not an exploit or a game bug. They just made it like because well space stuff could never really be armor lol. i hope this answers your question

Read bug happened when item reached zero condition and then counted as armor. Not sure if has been fixed or not.

the blacksun helmets add no protection, its just like a clothing item with 100/100 conditon.

I know the Endor Rebel Helmet, which has no protective stats but is listed as armor, did reduce your damage with a lightsaber. That was almost a year ago, and I just started using my saber again, so I don't know if it was fixed.

Endor Rebel Helm... why was such a cool quest reward removed? And to replace it with a podracing helm that can be crafted too.
