It works. For me. Critical shots are for kiling stuff. This shot does a good damage and it doesnt eat a lot of action.

Well in my days as a MBH, Criticalshot did do a bit more damage, however, It was not that often and I don't recall if it ever did double damage. It does work though, you just won't see it very often and it's sometimes hard to get testing results on if your not specifically testing for it as you can easily miss the critical shot happen during battle. The best way would be to test it with 2 people where you both keep an eye out for the critical shot. But since it could take hundreds of shots to get enough results for accurate testing, noone may ever test it. I know I won't...lol

I think maybe he is talking about the smuggler critical shot slice?

What I am wondering is if you are a MBH and use critical shot special with a critical shot sliced gun, and both "dice" roll, would you (if not broken like everything else) get quadruple damage?

I'm wondering what exactly these are supposed to do. I've heard that they are not working.

In the D20 system (Dungeons & Dragons, KoToR, etc), a critical hit is a special roll that doubles your damage. You see, everyone has a critical hit range, which is 20 by default. If you roll a 20 for your attack (accuracy roll), your following damage roll is doubled. You can expand this range up to 17-20 with feats (skills) to increase your chance to double your damage.

I've not seen any double damage, and there are no damage rolls in this game. It's not dynamic; you do a set amount of damage with each attack with very little flexibility. Anyone care to explain what the critical shots are for?
