Thread: Y8 still broke Pub 20

I'm stuck on the escort mission. Once in space there are no waypoints to the ships needing escort. Is this where everyone is stuck?

I guess it would be too much to hope that someone WP'ed the location of the escort ship...lol

if something is suposed to be fixed it doesn't mean it is unless it's in the patch notes , not when you want it to come out and i'm sure their to busy working on the hoth expansion.

Its so annoying how long the Devs wait to fix something that probably takes all of 10 minutes of codework! Pub 18 broke and I believe Tomo said he submitted a bug thingy on it b4 Pub 19 and we are arrporaoching Pub 21 and it doesnt look like its even now gonna get fixed

I see Y-8's flying around all over the place on Bria, there's gotta be a Work-Around somehow. Those who have it, please share it.

where is everyone getting stuck? I'm on the part where I have to go mine in the lok system. Is everyone getting stuck on this spawn issue?

They completed the quest when it still worked. The convoy mission in Kash space is where the quest stops. The Y8 convoy never spawns, the quest ends up empty in your datapad.
Either they broke it on purpose because of all the lazy n00bs that complained the Y-8 is a broken ship or it's a tough bug to track down. Either way it needs to be fixed or there will be no more new Y-8's

It's got nothing to do with laziness, it's a simple matter that the so-called "mining ship" is less effective at mining than a one-man fighter.
The turrets are not in optimal locations for collecting chunks, the pilot isn't going to be of much help, and hell, the B-Wing could do the job better.
I got my Y-8 before this quest broke and I have packed it up and put it away. I use my Belbullab for mining. When they make the Y-8 the best way to mine, I'll use it again.
