Anyone got any tips in drawing a single agro from a social mob?

My tip is for Mcommando, Msmuggler, Toss a nade and FD. Let them all move back, I stand up and can pick out of the group.

your 'superior' training?

Boss: This 'deluxe model' is the only thing standing between you and a bloody death, so you'd best be showing some respect, trooper.

walk near the target but not to close and stand there, when you see the ? then run and you should only get the one that ? at you ya. Another way use rifleman skills

Use a combat droid.

Command the droid to attack your target, then immediately command the droid to follow you.

The desired mob will leave his group to chase your droid toward you.

Works through walls and obstacles, too.

use traps from scout and ranger. cheaper then nades and don't do area effects.

Gotta get fairly close to the mobs with traps, though.

And the traps only work on creatures.

They need to work on NPCs too. I mean, people are animals; physiologically speaking.

Not that SOE understands that;Silly monkeys.

And I don't see rifles being a good solution. Rare to draw just one mob with any shot, from my experience.

IMO, SOE intended for mass-agro to be part of the controversial "forced-grouping" idealogy.

And if we get too good at getting around it, they'll dub it an "exploit", and then here comes the nerf bat

rifles can be used very very well for single pulls, if you have the time to wait for one critter or NPC to move out of the assist radius, which most people (including me) don't like to wait for

That will only work until Publish 21 goes Live.

If you have a decent amount of space to play around with it's simple. Attack the mob you wish to lure and run away (no area attacks). His friends may give chase but will give up before the mob you attacked.
