how is it done? i lost the command and where to save it =(

Untrue, you can multibox, but after a patch the way to do it changed.


I dunno the official way to do it though

I don't have to do anything special to run two instances of the game. I just fully load one account, then alt+tab out and start the other one. I have to wait until the second account starts loading (after the character selection screen) before alt-tabbing back to the first instance, or I'll get a DirectX error.

It works very smoothly on a 3.0 GHz P4 with 1 GB RAM and is still pretty functional on a 1.8 GHz machine. The 1 GB of RAM is almost a must, it seems.

Make that



allowMultipleInstances=1


as in binary 0=no 1=yes

create a file that contains the foillowing lin


allowMultipleInstances=2:




Save the file in the SWG directory with the name of user.cfg


If this also has to be in the SWG test folder if you want to run an account on the live servbers and one on the test server.


I got this from the Tech fourm and it works for me.
