I've heard rumors of that the new armour coming with the CU shall be limited to diffrent proffesions... THATS MAD!! If this is true... DONT DO IT!! I want stormie armour.. but i also want to be carbineer.. and what if stormie armour is limited to melee proffesions... THATS NOT WORKING!

stop panicking, no armour is Melee only, it is divided into 3 sets
Recon Armor: BE, Pistoleer, Rilfeman, Smuggler
Battle Armor:Carb, CM, CH, Doc, Fencer, Pike, Ranger, Swordsman
Assault Armor: Commando, BH, Squad Leader
Stormtrooper Armour is Battle Armour so a Carbineer can wear it.
Recon Armor: BE, Pistoleer, Rilfeman, Smuggler
Battle Armor:Carb, CM, CH, Doc, Fencer, Pike, Ranger, Swordsman
Assault Armor: Commando, BH, Squad Leader
Stormtrooper Armour is Battle Armour so a Carbineer can wear it.

Chitin, Composite, Kashyyykian Hunting, Ithorian Sentinel, Mandalorian (Quest), Rebel Assault (Factional), Shock Trooper (Factional)
Certified to use it: Bounty Hunter, Commando, Squad leader

So after the CU i wont be able to wear composite?? /feh and also.. get scout to recon armour!!

I think BH armor would fall under Assault Armor since that's where Composite and Mandalorian are.

Don't worry about what armor is best anymore. The names we are using in live are now just skins over a core, and the core is what really carries the stats. You see that chitin and composite are in the same category? They can be made with exactly the same stats. Recon is a little stronger against energy and weaker against kinetic. Assault is stronger versus kinetic and weaker versus energy. Battle armor has not innate strengths or weaknesses.
Worry more about the new creature level system where anything much above your level with do increased damage to you and grind you into dog meat not matter what armor you're wearing.
