this might be a dumb question, but since the datadisk repair tool doesnt really list the needed components, could someone tell me what im missing, i have recovery software,magnetic reader/burner,corrupt datadisk.....what am i missing?

here ya go, components for each kit:

Datapad housing-

datapad battery

datapad backlight
datapad connectors
broken datapad
=Makes Empty Datapad

Datadisk Repair Kit -

Corrupt Data Disk
Magnetic Reader
Magnetic Burner
Recovery Software
Wiring (not red wiriing just plain ol' wiring by itself)

= makes data disk

drag the data disk over the empty datapad, drop, andyou will have a completed datapad.
