Thread: The Trouble With HK-47
We tried first by defending the smaller base, didn't work. Then we tried destroying the smaller base and focusing on the bigger one, it worked lil bit better but still no....
So if there's someone who has done it I would be very thankful if I could get some tips

It's hard because the Tanker/Healer/Damager system is so **edit**ed up
I mean you can't have a tanker & a healer if their are 2 different chars, they healed woud get **edit**ed if he used 1 single heal, and the one damaging the most gets to be tanker.
i blame soe for **edit**in up this game and i will have my revenge
Lol I agree, but there must be a way doing it
droid army is very easy if you can do the following
1.) have a squad leader
yea, thats it, basically, when they start spawning, kill what you can, dont hang around the camps, keep roaming and avoiding the various spawns
the trick is to have your squad leader use paint/called shot to single aggro enemies from their groups as they walk, pick them off one by one, tada

This is pretty muchit in a nutshell. The OP stated that their group tried to sit around and defend the bases against the incoming waves. This is not the way to do it, as you are going against superior numbers. Rudimentary military tactics suggest that when engaging a larger force, "hit and run" maneuvers are almost always more effective than "making a stand". Such tactics actually can apply to video games as well, and they do work in this particular situation. Movement is key.
Engage the droid army in small pockets, rather than waiting for the mass of it to mount a consolidated offense.
Bring aSquad Leader, and by Squad Leader, I mean a true-blue one, not some hybrid-BH uber-d00d that only has half the skills. Despite all of the nonsense involving BH and Jedi, Squad Leader got a really awesome revamp and I'm very glad for them; it's amazing how useful they are in groups now. To put it mildly, myself, a Squad Leader, and 3 others managed to butcher the droid army. Without our SL, I feel we would have been the ones butchered.
Oh, and make use of the det-packs and NPC miners who are on your side. The det-packs can actually do some damage, and the NPC miners aren't so bad either, not to mention they make good meatshields. If you opt to fight alongside the NPC's do NOT use AOE's as you can damage the friendlies.
The fightis intense, so don't expect an instant-win, however I found the battle to be an extremely enjoyable and rewarding one.

I've seen here loads of posts about ppl asking how to do the droid army quest, and I've also seen ppl saying that they have finished it. I've tried it 4 times myself, all kind of ways but we stillcan't beat the boss (Commander)because it's surrounded by 50 other droids. So is there any kind of tactic to do it? I guess it's an easy quest if u know what you're doing.
