I know the people like me who preordered ToOW just started playing today, but does anyone know how to get the new rifle, the dp23? Or any of the other new rifles?

you might also want to check out some screen shots from live of it if you can

the live version appears to have a 128 sac and a lower min and max damage

Yep, it appears that all the new weapons are only going to be useful for putting up on your wall.

the reason they did is that all the new weapon skins will also be craftable.

The devs stated that very clearly in the chat. That means while the loot one is a nice wall decoration - the schematic based ones could be much better. (Weaponsmiths for the win!)
