I visited two points of interest (POI) that should have awarded me badges, yet the system didn't deliver. I ran my poor character all around the placestrying to get the thing to say I had earned a badge! LOL. Do Itry to go again and hope it works,or just move on and figure it's a glitch?

Find the thread that has "location badges" in the subject line. A lot of the badges are given out at a slightly different spot than where the POI waypoint is. Usually within a 100 meters or so, but still... it can take some driving around.

What you can do is if you don't get it at the POI then refer to the list and type in /waypoint xxxx xxxx and then just go to that spot.

I have heard that not all of the POI's award a badge. Not sure how true this is maybe someone else can confirm it.

This is true. Not all POI's were supposed to give badges. For example, on Endor, although there are many POI waypoints to ewok villages, only two specific ones award badges.

Also, the POI waypoints are not the location of triggering the badges sometimes. Some require that you enter a cave or a basesome 100m inside. Some need for you to really explore the surrounding area...

Look about the forums and you should find a few guides to badge waypoints.

Here's an excellent one:

You'll find this site far easier to read than slogging through a forum thread.

The reason people complain is because they think that being a Jedi grants them theright to win by pressing one button. If they have to use tactics or strategy, then the game is too hard for them and its obviously SOE's fault. These are the players who need to go play World of Warcraft. Where every character is the same, and you will never have to worry about using strategy to participate in what is the most mindless PvP ever invented.

the only complaint i have seen on force run is that we should be able to switch to each force run this making fr1 ,2 ,3 more viable which I agree with what they are saying.. You once could switch to whatever fr you wanted but now you cant.. Fr2 and 3 have a dam reduction.. Why when fr1 dont? This is there arguement and i happen to think its a viable one... There was no call for nerf in that post unless i missed another post regarding this

People can we just PLEASE play the game and try to enjoy it, without people complaining about nerfing eachother. I just seen a post about nerfing Force Run, I mean that the $%!^ are you thinking? Jedi used to be a professions others looked up to for support, and the right direction. Now people frown upon Jedi because we are over populated. Now I see people complaining about Force run, and cloak. If you dont like it dont take it! Please stop.
