Thread: Droid/Pet question advice needed
for pets the highest level you could get would be a level 10, so depending on where you are going for Harv runs and such that really wouldn't help you.
From what I know about combat droids, the highest level they can be is 30 so they would be a little better for you in the wild. I'm not sure about how long they would last, but perhaps just enough for you to make a run for it if there is something really nasty out there.
And lastly which is your best defens is to get someone from your guild to help you out while doing the runs, or maybe even dropping harvs for you so you don't have to worry about getting killed. Assuming your in a guild. This is how we handle the high end planets in our guild.
BTW grouping with a pet/droid will not raise your level, you will still be whatever level that you are.
