Thats the point. I have waited too long. How many times ya gotta get hit by your drunken hubby b-4 you realize it'll never get better. SOE keeps d!##ing with it. I have waited....and waited....and waited. I'm tired and angry for not being given what was promised on several occasions. How many times must they lie to us b-4 we give up on them.

You were not misinformed, it was simply misunderstood by all of us. Once you are "glowy" you get moved to the "immediate" group. There is no first-serve basis for hologrinders. If you never get "glowy" status you will still get a visit if you completed holos by the group system listed (btw who wouldn't go get glowy in the 2 hrs it takes to do it?). That is the difference between the "old" system and "new" system. You still get a visit when "glowy" even if you did 0 holos. If you reread the post, you can see there is no group for 6P9 unlocker, 100+ badges and still waiting myself.

just because you spent months and months grinding out the old method does not mean you will instantly be visited by the old man, you still have to qualify for the old geezer by getting glowy, under the new system.

what the hologrinders get is the unlocked trees. which will substantialy cut back on your long slow jedi grind.

My guess is that after so much hologrinding you probably dont have the required badges to get "glowy"

check out one of the guides here and once you have the required badges just sity tight and enjoy playing the game till the old guy stops by.

Just to allay some fears... I am a Post-9 Unlocker. (August 9th @ approximately 1030 PM Eastern). (Number 31, Commando)

I was visited by the old man this morning (September 2nd @ 609 AM Eastern). I really hadn't been expecting to be visited until this afternoon at the earliest.

So Post 9 Unlockers are being visited... Just be patient, we get free branch unlocks and XP, if we're not visited immediately we still will progress quickly once we get to the village.

Just relax, do some missions or whatever, but stay out of the NPC cities (as TH Advised) unless there's something you need to do there.

And since I know the question will likely arrise... I was running Lord Nyax Chapel missions out of the Player City I live in. I was riding on my speederbike. I dismounted to deal with some Monumentor Marauders that had attacked me and he showed up about the time I killed the first of them. If he was there before that, I didn't notice him. He showed up as a purple dot on my radar as if he was from a similar faction (Idon't know if that's the case for everyone). Andhe followed me around as I dealtwitheach bandit in turn so that it was easy to double click himfor the "converse" option.

Ok...even though i feel screwed by soe for telling me i get jedi if i unlock b-4 pub 10 and then finding out thats not entirely true, I still have questions. Like Why are peeps who didnt grind are getting the old man before the ones of us that DID UNLOCK. I was told hologrinders were first. TH said so himself. Although i have come to see that his posts are all deleted now. Flame if ya like, but it changes nothing. I did 31 proff to unlock and feel for the millions of creds and hours spent...that im getting screwed. I understand that i get free branch unlocks. What i dont understand is the bs SOE feeds us by still giving us the message "You start to feel atuned to the force. You will recieve your jedi on publish 10". Ok...here's pub 10....Where's the jedi? Now i have to wait to see a old man (just like everyone else), When i have already been told by 2 seperate CSR's and by the message that i get jedi. Whats my prob?.......that i put forth a great effort as all hologrinders know and im still getting passed up by these non-grinders. Whats the deal. We earned it....not by player rules...or rping rules.....but by SOE rules. We earned it and yet we see 4 week old characters getting the old guy b-4 us. WE DID WHAT YOU TOLD US TO DO SOE. Despite that we hated the grinding path to jedi we did it. I'm not asking for you to hand me jedi on a silver platter. What i am asking is for you to give us what was promised from YOUR CSR's and TH. Why are we being passed up by month old toons. Thats just bs guys.Soeis driving this into the ground. We r veterans and deservea little more.Not everything....but a little more consideration.This publish has me to the edge. If not for friends then i would be gone. If JTL isgonna be anything like regular old SWG...then i fear for thefuture.

Does it really matter, yeahthey maybe get into the village before you, butyou get all the bonuses when you get into the village anyway.

Your first mistake was actually believing something that TH or any of the other Devs told you.

Been away for about 6 months, and somethings obviously havent changed.
