No one really knows what's up with the Old Man. People claim the shuttle thing works, but I think that just gives them something to do while they wait. I shuttle and planet hopped about 40 times yesterday, and I got nothin. You can't just walk up to him and talk to him, that won't work. He has to come specifically for you. Just play the game as normal and it'll happen eventually.

"A Jedi's strength flows from the Force, but beware the Dark Side. Anger, fear, aggression, the Dark Side of the Force are they. Easily they flow, quick to join you in a fight. Once you start down the Dark Path, forever will it dominate your destiny. Consume you it will."

I support removing Jedi from the game rather than leaving them as represented in NGE

I've been glowy since Pub 10 went live... Theoretically I should get my visit today or tomorrow.

Guys just a lill reminder. I almost missed my old man. He doesn't show up on the radar, only on the overhead map as white dot. So if you log in or are in the wild, open the overlay map and look for some white stuff.

They'd get bored as hell doing that after a while, and then I'd be through with having conversations for the rest of my life."

I think the key is that you DO stuff... not just stand there.... if you do stuff, travel, kill things etc... you are being active in the system, and then the system checks to see what status you are, and when the system sees that you need a visit, AND you are in a good spot for it (not in a major city), it starts it in motion.

I only took 2 shutles between loggin in for the first time to find myself glowy and the old man spawning for me.

What I did do... The Corellian Corvette twice, and shoot a lot of low level mobs out in the wild.
