There are some branches that mean absolutely nothing to a Jedi, and Ranged accuracy/speed are two of these.
At first glance, you may expect that a Jedi has no need for the crafting branches. Wrong. A Jedi can benefit greatly from the assembly and experimentation branches. Assembly greatly increases the chance of getting an exceptional success, which is always a good thing.
Example: Pidon, a DE on our server, used an exceptional assembly to kick his harvester droids' effectiveness up a full 10 points higher than they normally were with the same resources.
And of course, experimentation is always good. +20 gives you 2 additional experimentation points with your lightsabers, and that can make a world of difference. Those points are going to be really good news for the other crafters out there.
14 point Armorsmiths and Weaponsmiths? Wow!

Assembly affects the chance of a successful ie not crit fail assembly, and probably gives you a higher chance of an amazing success initial combine as well. Experimentation through FS skills does not allow for an additional 2 points of experimentation. All that this does is function as a permanent bespin port, and gives you a slightly higher chance of an amazing success in your experimentation.
As for the initial post, the Melee speed and accuracy lines can be helpful, as can the ranged and melee defense ones. Anything else is pretty much just for kicks. I would probably say go for the vehicle control line and then just any other combat line, as any other type of xp is very difficult to get. The 5th and 6th skills will not make a huge difference on your jedi.
