Do they stack?


If I had a Droid speed +13 in my backpack, and a Droid speed +10 on my boots for example would that give me Droid speed +23?


Sorry aboutthe n00bish question but I never got into using tapes before.

As long as they are on seperate items, they do stack. You can confirm by checking your Droid Speed modifer in your Skills window.

I've just acquired a BE backpack with melee and ranged def +3 with 2 sockets.

It's not a BE backpack. It's a loot schem made by tailors with loot made parts. The bonus skills are part of the backpack when made.

Placing a skill tape in a backpack does nothing. You are putting it in the inventory and not the socket. Yes, backpack have socket but they where never ment for skill tapes. I heard that maybe they were for extra storage that never came about. Like the cargo pockets that players can loot.

Having a CA or AA in you backpack will not change your skills. These must be placed in clothing or armor items for the modification to take effect.

This is what I'm hearing, and I am truly grateful to be hearingf before I spend a lot of credits.


So, basically the sockets in backpacks don't work then?
