Thread: Alias question: Is their a way to set up an /alias for hexcolor codes?

I'm trying to set up a hex color codes as an aliasfor the different colors so I can jsut type /red and get \#ff0000.


Anybody know how to do this? I like to use alot of color in my conversations... And other things...

It will only work in chat channels and only as color for the whole message line.
The trick is, that you need to place a sign, before typing any color code.


/alias red .\#FF0000

/alias blue .\#0000FF

/alias yellow .\#FFFF00


Now use your alias to speak in you default chat channel.


/red Howdy Partners!

[chat]: .Howdy Partners!

/blue Howdy Partners!

[chat]: .Howdy Partners!

/yellow Howdy Partners!

[chat]: .Howdy Partners!


But you won't be able to parse the aliases within a text line


/red Howdy /blue Partners!

[chat]: .Howdy /blue Partners!
