Hello,
I'm a pikeman BH, and I can't fit all my weapons, attacks and food into the top bar.
(this thing)
http://jonno2002.myftp.org/jedi/Misc/bar.JPG
I was just wondering how to solve this - I have 10 differentweapons that I need to access quickly and easily during the fight, 4 types of food, burstrun, mount/dismount,equilibrium and about 8 different attacks....
Where else can I put them for easy access during a fight? I don't want to switch between toolbars or click stuff in my inventory.. its too slow.

you can make macros with your attacks, so you don't have to put them all on there. Plus, theres the little arrow..you can use that, so you can divide your stuff up.
I think its like crtl # or something....not sure exactly to switch to a new shortcut bar. Put your mounts on like the new one, then attacks on the 1st one or something..

you can use a macro to clear your combat queue and switch to a different toolbar. its not super fast but about the best solution i've found.

A handy tip I found was to use macros to change weapon type and toolbar... then each toolbarpane only has specials related to that weapon..
A while back, for example, I was TKA and Rifleman.
The first pane was all my "Peace" options = healing, calling vehicles etc..
The second pane was all the TKA specials.
The third pane was all the Rifleman specials.
If you want more specific info, then this is exactly how I set it up:
The first five boxes on every pane, I made the same as the first pane (Stand, Kneel, Sit, Prone, BurstRun). I then put anything common to them all in the same number slot (I put heal in the F-11 slot on each pane and brandy in F-6 slot on each pane.)
Next step was to just add all the specials for each weapon-type, leaving the 3 bottom left boxes empty (Shift+F1, Shift+F2, Shift+F3).
The next part is a bit tricky to explain without pictures (not online to get screenshots) but I'll try:
Shift+F1 slot is the "peace slot" - On the 1st pane, it holds my vehicle, on panes 2 and 3 it holds a macro that unequips my weapon and switches to pane 1.
Shift+F2 slot is the "TKA slot" - On the 2nd pane it holds my VK, on panes 1 and 3 it holds a macro that swicthes to pane 2 and equips my weapon.
Shift+F3 slot is the "Rifle slot" - On the 3rd pane it holds my most common rifle, on panes 1 and 2 it holds a macro that switches to pane 3 and equips my weapon.
Now this may seem a little long-winded to set up, but it means you get almost the full pane for each weapon, and changing weapons is easy....
I see an agro ahead, I push Shift+F3, my rifle comes out - there are all my specials.. I fire a few headshots, the mob closes in..
I hit Shift+F2, rifle goes away, out comes my VK and I get all my TKA specials.. I take down the mob..
Then Shift+F1, get out my vehicle and ride off into the sunset......

Or you could bind your macros to your numeric keypad
Go to that options page where you can redefine you keys, click on the Custom tab and all your macros are laid out.
No need to put them on the toolbar, but be damn sure you remember which is which, any screw-ups in PvP and you'll probably end up dead.

Like others have said you can use another toolbar. There are 6 altogether and the easy way to switch between them is CTRL-F1 through CTRL-F6. Or you can set up some macros to switch... If you have any other questions, shoot.

Here is a post I made on stratics on how to activate modal chat and create and bind macros to keys.
I like to think of this method as the "Advanced" way to control your toon and helpswith control in PvP and PvE when you have a template that is a little move complicated than just spamming one move over and over again.
With your setup, you can move all your special moves to the keyboard and keep your guns and chef buffs in the toolbar, or move them to the keyboard too, its highly customisable to your specifications.
I recommend trying it at least, it's not for everyone as many find it over-complicated.
