Which is better for the non-combat player to do for two badges?

We need five total, & the easiest to get for non-combat players are Nym's, & the two from the Warren (Compassion & Hero). That leaves two more to get.

It seems that the Jabba, Reb, & Imp Themeparks require combat training to complete, while there are at least 2 mission types for the Corvette that don't directly require combat to complete (Destroy & Rescue).

Here are the pros & cons I have learned so far:

Jabba/Reb/Imp Themeparks:

pros - Pretty cool to meet familiar StarWars chars. Fairly decent rewards.

cons - Requires combat skills & enough faction points to start. Gives you TEF's to opposing faction NPC's & players who sometimes camp at mission locations for easy kills.

Corvette:

pros - Can be in a 10 member group. The work can be shared or divided, so every member doesn't have to complete every step by themselves to get the badge. If you die you clone right there on the ship & can keep going where you left off.

cons - Very hard. 60 minute timer. Possibly made even tougher in the last patch.

If any of you have some suggestions as to which direction to take, I'm sure there are many of us non-combat players who are interested in hearing your advice.

So far I'm leaning towards doing the two Corvette missions...mainly because, it seems faster, it wouldn't require altering templates too much, & you have the ability to group & work as a team.

I could see combat players taking groups of non-combat players to the Corvette on badge collecting expeditions for some extra credits & the chance to get all the loot. If you're on Ahazi & are interested in something like this, lemme know.

I just finished the Imp. themepark and It's the neverending themepark from hell. All the enemies are VERY easy -- I am a Master DR. w/ fencing II -- and I was thru 3 missions before I realized my buffs had worn off but It's LONG 40 or 50 total missions, If there's any way for you to get thru the corvette missions I would make friends and do that instead.

Retreat and Jabbas are quite easy specially when compared to Corvette. The Warren isn't hard either, the only thing there is many people wind up getting lost and by the time you recover, you're buffs are probably gone.

I have jabba, Nym's, Imp AND Rebel theme parks. I have The Warren. Yes they are easy now due to buffs and armors but you still need to do damage output. No unarmed, onehand, twohand, pike, pistol, carbine etc.. IN skill box 4 your pretty safe to do the first 4. The Warren ya need help with. Ive never done the Corvettes but you need lots of help there as well as knowledge on how to do. Such as The Warren.

Nym's and Warren are easy badges; get them at a minimum. The Corvette Rescus and Destroy missions can be done easily solo orin a small group.

Strange as it may seem - if you have no combat skills at all then I recommend the corvette destroy mission solo. There is a very good guide in here and you never fight at all. You follow the 4-5 steps then get off. You will die over and over but you keep going after each death (just make sure you dont have any valuables with you that will decay). It actually is pretty fun if you don't allow yourself to get frustrated. You may have to go up more than once. It took me two tries to get it - mainly due to luck in doing the steps in each room before getting killed.

Thanks for the tips guys.I agree that the Corvette may be the better option if you team up with some good combat guys who are going for the loot.

Nym's, & the Warren badges can be done with zero combat, zero buffs, zero enhanced clothing, & zero armor...My group of musicians & dancers did them no problem. The fact that there are a lot of people doing them right now actually helps out.

I'm going to try joining groups for the Neutral Destroy& Neutral Rescue missions of the Corvette. I'll post back if this works for other non-combat players to give it a shot.
