Out of curiosity and a love of ciphers I have been translating the Arubesh seen around bits of the game
This site has a list of the script, the game does not use the compound letters such as CH AE
http://www.omniglot.com/writing/aurekbesh.htm
The thing that started me off was a JTLS screen shot with a load of arubesh in it:
attention all personel
go to battle stations
imediatly ..... this is not
a drill
the ship is under attack
repeat we are under attack
Heavy damage reported in
sector 5. 7. 11. and 10.
ecgineers report to centre
data ecneter for repair
hydro pressure 50%
global systems 100%
Reactor heat
electron voltage meters
This text could indicate all sorts of things about JTLS, will there be running comentary on screens, will there be 'battle stations' for engineers? Who knows but its a fun bit of text to translate and gets into the mood
Then I noticed on resource containers:
Caution
max stack 2
Which I felt it important to point out to an architect friend of mine who was risking life and limb by his illiteracy and stacking these containers 4 high in his warehouse. I dread to think what would have happened if they had collapsed.
At starports the big green screen says:
departures
Endor
Alderaan (cancelled)
Tatooine
Corellia
Coruscant
Nar Shaddaa
Kashyyyk
Arrivals
Dantooine
Nal Hutta
Naboo
Talus
Coruscant
Bespin
Kessel
Which I found mildly amusing, but also perhaps hints that maybe we'll see Nal Hutta and its moon in JTLS
In the clone centre the big screens visible through the upstairs window say:
"Frequent cloning can be
hazardous to your health
be more careful in
the future to avoid
cloning sickness
Long live the emperor"
Good advice, and a sentiment I'm sure we all condone.
Above the cloning terminals it says...
"Cloning terminal
model 389"
Which isn't very interesting but then what do you expect from a clone terminal.
There is a Painting in Bestine behind Shaun the politician, it says:
"Dathomir Prison"
Which clears up an argument about what the picture is of.
Now there is one more bit of Arubesh that I have found in clone centres, there is a screen but I can't get the angle to read it properly so far it seems that the bottom two lines says:
"wcvbrush
Threemoxxi"
which is pretty much gibberish though its quite blurred and I'm wondering if a bigger screen could let me see it from an angle that didn't distort the letters to nearly unreadable. I'll keep working on this but please post any bits you found that I missed, especialy if you can make head of tail of that gibberish screen.

Yeah I've done that myself from time to time in fits of boredom.

I've often wondered about the paintings/advertisements hanging in the lobby in theaters, any luck with those?

I'm sure if the Devs had their way, they would limit the size of each stack to 2... to "prevent hoarding"
Oh... the Chef's apron says, quite predictably, "Kiss the Chef".

LOL, I translated those theater ads...
Picture of a Bothan and Human:
"A Forbidden Love"
Picture of a Mon Calamari:
"The Merchant of Mos Espa"
Picture of a Twi'lek:
"You won't eat me Nuna!" (has some fineprint that i could not make out)
Picture of a Rodian:
"Come see the great Rodian"

One of the fan fest puzzles was to translate the aurabesh language. I keep my key next to me because the language is everywhere and fun to decode. I also saw the screenshot of JTL and wasthinking thatit would be interesting if the message changed, battle stations in a battle and a stand down message when you are not fighting.

You might want to check this webby out
And the Advertisement from Jabba themepark reads 'Sy Noodles - Coming this month - She'll make you tap tap tap!' or something like that

Oooh, I'd forgoten about the theater posters and the apron
The apron is the only place I've seen the compound letters used (they use a single symbol for TH and CH I think). I supose it would be dificult to fit on otherwise.
The advertisment (jabba theme park reward) says:
Slie Noodles
comming this month
She'll make you tap tap tap.
The erm thing in a bathing suit is the same species as Sy Snootles who plays in Max Rebo's band, I guess Slie is cashing in on Sy's sucess (or trying to).

I built an Aurebesh language lab in the basement of our mall. It'sstill there if anyone want's to check it out. I need to think of a wayto do more with it.Hmmm.... I need to put some waypoints to the other examples of Aurebesh in game.
I don't think anyone has mentioned the gravestones you find on Tat and Yavin. They say Rest In Peace, RIP, and In Loving Memory, in various combinations.

Well, since you like to translate, I'm going to let you look at some "paintings", that are in the game files, but yet released or seen ingame...mostly.
Translate them if you can.
Oh, post a list of the translations, for those who's not patient enough to translate.
