'specially since this grind is harder than the holo one.

I hope it's not a reward for holo grinders since some of them did a lot less work. Even ones that didn't use a single macro (there aren't a lot of you out there) you still proably unlocked in less time.

My friend unlocked after 4 holos and 2 base professions.

Anyway, i don't know - i've heard we do and i've heard we don't (csrs - but then again csrs are known for being wrong).

The second slot will not open up until youget 6 branches of FS skills & reach the rank of Padawan.

when you reach the rank of padawan with your main char you open a second FS slot?

No, you unlock another regular character slot to use. If you want that character to be a jedi, you must go throw the path to open jedi all over again with that character.

Awesome - so I won't have to give up all of my existing skills to unlock my second character slot?

I was worried that I'd have to surrender everything I've already done to get the second slot and essentially commit myself to Jedi or become a newbie all over again (albeit one with lots of money and good equipment).

I like having FS skills, I want the second slot. I don't want to have tobecome full-on Jedi to do so.

Yes, the second slot char will be brand new with zero skills, etc...just like making a new char on a new server. Once you have the second slot you can continue to make your main a Jedi, keep the FS skills you liketoenhanceyour normal template, drop any or all of the FS skills & relevelin regular skills. You can also do any of these choices with the second slot char.

dont get second slot until padawan. tested last night. thats all folks.
