You can continue planet hopping. I saw the old man on Lok. The outlaws spawned as I was heading to a Picket lair mission on Dantooine about 7 hours later (I had logged off for a couple of hours).

I finally got a visit from the old man. I was in a camp near Ben's hut on Tat. I was chasing a bounty and went to two more planets before logging off. My question; do I have to remain on the planet where the visit took place to encounter the Sith, or can I continue my planet hopping??
