Thread: Anyone Got Any Tactics For Necrosis??

That guy hits for 1700 a go and of our group of 8 - only 2 Jedi manage to hold their own thanks to Avoid Incap.
Ideas from anyone who has done it?

Use mdefs to AI and tank, then have ranged/jedi keep him rooted. Must keep him rooted. Oh yeah and stay down where you spawn. Pul him to you, as afar away from his rechargers as possible.

i just tried it solo to see what was up..i tried it twice..to make sure i didnt miss anything...take out the machine , then the pwr cell in room by thier spwn point...i was able to hold my ground and do some damage...before they finally got me...the second time...first time i got pwned of course..i believe a group of 4 could pull this off..waitin on a group now

heh a well organized group of 7mdoc mcm mmed and a tank could probably do it, itd just take forever

Seems like the high end content requires several jedi? Normal players are incapable with out jedi help?
Too bad most of the jedi i know just hang around Theed to Gank each other.

alright , after doing it several times yesterday..if there is atleast couple to 4 jedi in group..i mean full template jedi..others can tag along and get it done...plan is..all but the one giving lorn the crystal stay back by entrance..say half way back...one gives cyrstal..tank or ranged kite the lvl 82/s to group...once they done..take out pwr crytlas and machine and all converge on nk...can take out pwr crystals with ranged attack too at any time if so disired...all in group target each npc at once...man with the mission try and hang back , just in case..but it goes fairly well this way..

1 master defender just tanking 1 rifleman dealing damage , try and pull necrosis solo if possible (altho we have managed to still kill him with his bodyguards aswell, but the jedi needed to take his health buff crystal)

It's very simple and requires no Jedi or tanks.
Pull, root & nuke.
The first step is eveyone stay at the entry point, except one person (the person who conversed with the droid to get you inside) who needs to talk to Treun, give him the crystal, and spawn Necrosis. As soon as they hit the last conversation step with Treun, they have about 5 seconds or less to get back to the group before Necrosis and the NK-3s spawn.
The second step is optional, but if you have a master rifleman with you have them take cover then conceal shot the machine and power cell from your entry point, which is conveniently about 65m away from Necrosis. This will help keep Necrosis from healing, but if you do the next part right he won't make it back to heal anyways.
Use a pet or droid to pull Necrosis. Issue an "attack" command then recall the pet/droid to you. Necrosis will charge.
As soon as he clears the rock wall, unleash every root/snare you have on him. Once he's rooted, nuke him from ranged. When the root breaks, immediately KD him and reapply the root. If you don't keep him rooted, you will die.
Once he dies, loot him, then repeat the same procedure with each NK-3. When the last NK-3 dies, everyone gets the badge and the encounter ends 30 seconds later.
It works quite well, and if you're lucky nobody gets killed. Just don't miss a root.
