where do u get the imperial insignia hologram? ive seen em around and in a few SS's and want to do the mission...

Take missions from the Kashyyyk neutral station. If you're Imperial, you will be told to go to the Imperial outpost and take a mission from them. The hologram is the reward. Details for this quest can be found in various posts in this and the quests forum.

Important: When the guy you report to on the ground (Eymo or something like that) asks you if the pirates are strong, SAY YES! Otherwise you won't be able to progress in the quest.

where do you get an imperial hologram from??

i seen the tie-fighter, yt-1300 and the x-wing but this is new

This was already answered on Page 2 of this very forum with a post who's title was nearly identical to this one...

To save you the trouble of clicking Next however, here's ExarKunReborn's answer:

You need to be imperial pilot to get this..
I got it from the Quest from Kashyyyk space station.
After doing all the missions from the station and the npc on ground, I got 2 missions from the Imperial Station, the 1st of which gave me the holo..
The second is for the Imperial Guard Tie Interceptor, which is cool, but you need to take down a Vette..

Ps. be sure to answer the npc on ground that the Ghrag pirates are strong and numerous, NOT weak..or you will not be able to do the quest

if you complete the kashyyyk quests for a heavy x-wing, you are awarded a rebel insignia hologram (well, actually, i think it's one mission before the end). i suspect that something similar is true for imperial players; they receive this hologram in the processes of acquiring the imperial guard interceptor.

the two missions from the rebel station will give you the hologram and then the Imperial guard (red) Tie Interceptor

BUT... when eyma asks you how strong the fighters were say strong or you will find a bug

change rebel for imperial and you're good to go
