I got a second game box and an additional 512MB in hopes of having a gig. When I took off the cover, lo and behold they had 2 256MB modules in there.
My question is this... before I break the seal on the box is any one else out there running multiple clients and how much ram do you have? I'm worried that my 768MB won't be enough.
Thanks!!!!!

I run multiple clients on 512mb ram. It runs fine. I've heard that 1.5Gb is the way to go for optimal performance for two clients on one computer.

Ive had both 512 and 1 gig and I can say that the 1 gig definetly helps to have a smoother experience both in single client and multiple client playing. The extra ram also helps out a whole lot when youre in the heavily populated cities.
Its playable with 512 but you will be definetly better off with 1 gig, and as ram really isnt all that expensice right now you might as well go for the gig.

A in-game friend on my ventrilo server runs SWG x2 and his voice client with no problems other than normal lag on 512mb. His machine is also a Dell, nuff said!

I run in a window with no borders myself, alt+tab to switch between clients.
