anyone know?

looking at the update as its happening at the moment, it would seem so, but i cant see any info on it, neither in the announcements, in live, or in testing.

No I don't think it is. I think the 180MB download is for some of the graphic updates. Think of it this way. If I don't buy JTL I still will need all the files to be able to view the 2 new species and the interiors of any ships that I may be invited on. I think that's what this download is doing and maybe adding a couple of things (like the new emotes) but I don't think it'll make any big changes. Nothing was in Test Center about it

It may not officially be called Publish 11 by the devs, but seeing as there isn't info about a pub 11 up just assume it is

If you don't have JTL you won't be able to bored the ships will you? I always thought until you get JTL ships are off limits.

download only says patch11 doesnt mean it is pub11. But they can consider JTL as pub 11

Actually, it means exactly that. They usually lable the patch the same as the publish, which is what I was told when publish 7 was released.

It's two separate things:

JTL = Space, ships, shipwright prof, and two new species. You have to purchase the expansion to get access to these.

Live update = Mostly JTL integration (updating non-JTL users for Ithorian and Sullustan art files, for example), but there are ground game changes included too. There's the new emote package from last week's Friday feature, some new stuff for existing profs (some JTL related, some not), and bug fixes. You do not have to purchase the expansion to get these.

The JTL NDA has limited what info can get released about the ground game changes. I'm hoping that today's update will have the non-space stuff activated. If so, I'd expect a "Publish 11" announcement sometime this afternoon. If the non-space stuff is on hold until JTL goes live, it'll be next week.

Hmm, looks like the launchpad is claiming Chilastra is up. /brb....
