Thread: Double Instance log-in broken?

It apparently is no longer possible to log in with more than one character on the same computer - is this as intended? Or just a bug? Any workarounds?

Was this just after todays patch? I was able to do it last night just fine.

I logged on with two characters just yesterday. However, if you are trying to use two characters from the same account, it will not work. Need each character to be from a different account.

Just to clarify, the problem started with today's patch, yesterday I was logged in with two toons on the same machine perfectly fine...

ugh!I use 2 buff alts to prepare my jedi every time i go out. i actualy run 3 instances. i tired to get my alts going this morning but no dice!~.. If in fact this has been changed and we are no longer allowed to run multiple instancesi can only see myself quiting this game.


ive been paying for 3 accounts for some time now and there is no way im going to buy 2 more comps just to run my alts.

Wonderful. Oh well. Go to the in live forum and report it. The more that do it the more they may see it.

Especially since most people have at least 2 accounts, and some more than that.
