Thread: ok then, how do you change who is the master looter?

I've figured out how to switch from master looter to all the other settings and what not but i can't figure out how to change who in the group is the master looter. Also, it seems that anyone who is out of range of the group leader (even on a free for all) is not able to loot at all. Is this supposed to be this way?
I hope this question isn't repetative but due to the shoddy nature of the search engine on these forums I couldn't find much information on this.

Kaline helped me figure it out a moment ago..
however, they seem to have broken /loot, /loot all, and doubleclicking on mobs.. to loot you -must- use the radial menu.. ugh..

the bug seems to happen randomly.. Kaline couldn't use it, but I could.. later on after I logged in after a little break, I couldn't use my /loot; /harvest hide; either.. but right now I could.. hmm

hmm, the problem that I run into is that as the master looter, other members of my group can still loot the corpses. Don't know about the other problems, but I have noticed that my loot macro doesn't work half the time now since the last publish and subsequent hotfixes.
As far as changing who the master looter is, hav eyou tried changing group leader? I know it should be easier than that. But if it is a viable option as a work around, then we must work with what is avaiable to us.
