Thread: AFK Macro help

I usually leave my computer on all the time and have left my character AFK with a little macro that makes him say "zzzzzzzzz" every 2 minutes more or less so that I don't get logged of. Does anyone have a better macro so that I don't spam everyone around me, I know that it can be annoying and if there is a better way I'd like to know. Here is the macro that I have right now:
zzzzzzzzzzzzzz
/pause 180
/macro AFK

I do the same but replace the saying to a emotion aka coughing or stretching every 3 to 5 mins. It doesnt cause any spam problems and i had tried it in mos esiley starport where its always busy and i had checked the logs and havent recieved any messages about any spam problems.

I had tried that before, but it didn't seem to work. I came home from work and I had been logged off, this is what I had before:
/snore
/pause 180
/macro AFK
that's when I changed it to say "zzzzzzzzz" and that seemed to work since I left it on last night before I went to bed and was still there this morning. Maybe I did something wrong, I'll try it again like you suggested. Thanks for your reply DarkDemonKight.

try this;
/yawn
/pause 50;
/sit
/pause 180;
/yawn;
/pause 20;
/stand
/macro whatever

It does help if you have a command that makes your toon do an action. Such as sit. Sometimes, when the servers are reset, there's no way around it. But for the most part:
Macro
Hmm. What's this
/sit;
/pause 80;
Ah Yes. Just what I was looking for!
/stand;
/smile
/pause 80;
/macro afk;
Something like this will do you just fine.

/stand
/pause 120
/ui action toolbarSlot##
or just...
/pause 120

or my favorite, put the mouse in "look mode"
go prone
hit your hotkey so you run, (mouse wheel 3 or numlock)
press ctrl shift S
tada!

I use a command I'm not capable of (or at least not capable of while I'm stting down, wich is usually how I am while afk).
/forage;
or
/flo 1;
when I come back I might have a screen of
"you are not able to forage while seated"
but it's a minor inconvenience, and I'm not making undue noise. (Although your zzzzz... sounds pretty inoffensive too!)
