Hi folks looks like my last post got eaten. I was wondering how to send a tell from one server to another. for example sending a tell from flurry to a person who is on bloodfin.

Saw a character jump servers once.. he was from Bloodfin, I'm on Wanderhome..

Any time he sent me a tell, it came through as Bloodfin.charactername tells you, "..."

Unfourtantly, using that same command structure results in a 'server error' message, and does not transmit.

I don't think its possible.

I think they do. Not sure of the notation, but I was switching servers once and I saw a tell come in from the server I was just on and the notation was something to the effect.

Or maybe is was...

I guess I should have written it down. Anyway, you might play with those ideas..

the command I know is /tell server.player message
but did work once for me.

it is possible, check your spelling, also there is an issue with caps that i hear of, if that fails search the forums for cross server tells as there are a few informative ones and also the EQ2 site has all the commands for cross server and cross game tells under its FAQ section
