I'm up to around 35 now with no loot what so ever, so I'm getting tired of mauling them really.

Some info for you. The one in the town does indeed drop scales. 1 in about every 25 to 50 drop the necessary RIS component. You can typically find between 1-3 wild gdk spawns simply driving around. They like to hang by water, by the base of the valcano, in and around the general area of the Imperial outpost, near the lakes west of the valcano, by the corvette lok base are some spots I drive around. A scout is your friend. Drive ahead of him and have him area track. You will kick up the spawns so he can find one.

There is a trick of pulling the gdk far from the spawn point and killing him. Some use this to keep a spawn. Be careful doing this. They sometimes despawn, also the animal runs off. Use taunt when the ham of the gdk is low to keep him close. He is fast.

If your not a tkm don't worry. Wounds cannot exceed your base level. Buffs and brandy should be sufficient to kill a gdk if you have blast or kinetic damage weapons. You must have initimidate. If you don't keep it intimidated you will lose.

After that you need Interwoven RIS schematics. 2 If you don't have a run of 5 or more of ALL the major components.

Good Luck.

I love my full interwoven ris suit.

"After that you need Interwoven RIS schematics"

not necessarily...i had just used regular RIS to make it from layers, etc

the schematic just adds the extra layer so the base goes higher...weather its worth its price...is another story.

My base is around 76% (Vul stun, acid, ls). You can get a perfect 80% piece with the correct nightsister layers, geo yellow cubes, janta hide or rancor hides. I paid around 1-2 million per schematic and 9 million in construction costs. It's as near flawless of a suit as I could get made. Furia on tempest is a great armorsmith who has a good guide of what you need for near/perfect RIS.

If you are going to go for a full suit and or wish to sell it I would suggest only the best. Interwoven ris schematics drop from acklay. If only they made it the jedi hunting suit it was promised to be. It should be resistant to lightsaber damage as the armor was advertised on release.

Tempest is my "home"

People paying 5-10 mil for a schematic arearmorsmiths with so much banked they could pay20 mil for it. That is not the items value. You could camp ackley and get it your self in probably 2-5 spawns. Far less than the rarity of a gdk scale. If people are willing to pay 5 million for a 5 use schematic whatdoes a gdk scalego for? Or what is the cpu of resources. It sounds like your smiths are causinginflation.

The people who want it are giving it to an armorsmith. It is no different if the smith actually buys the schematic themselves. 2 million a scale. So for 100 20k mission on your server you can get 1 scale. I figure you have a 1/50 shot of getting a scale on a kill. So 2% of the time you could get at least 1 scale. You need 9 scales. You could in theory have to find and kill 113 gdk spawns (4per spawn)to get all 9 scales. They drop between 1 and 10 so cut the time in half. If should take you between 25-50 spawns to get 9 scales.Maybe you get 3 scales. Maybe you get 10. (My two loots).

The Acklay ris schematic has to drops more frequently than that. So how does one player justify A) paying 5-10 million and B) selling for that price.

IThose selling that high are greedy. If you rationed the drop rate verus other rare items at auction its not hard to get them to agree that its not worth more than premium/exceptional krayt pearls, which, by the way is the comparision on our server in the price. If you pay that much you got ripped off. Not my credits but you did. However, you shouldn't have to pay that much.

I suggest advertising your buying Interwoven RiS schematics. Dont name a price and do it over ingame message. Or hang out by acklay and express an interest in purchasing a schematic if it drops. I am willing to bet dollars to donuts that if you offer them 2 million if it drops they take it without question. You don't even have to be a combat pro to get to acklay and hang out there untouched through the spawns. You could even get xp with a bit of healing while the fight. Or some crafting xp. Scouting xp. Just hanging out waiting for a drop. Good luck

Probably have solo'd 30+ ackley, never got an interwovenRIS schem. Got the coveted interwovenbone armor schem tho lol.

Over 30 GDK as well with no scales too, I'm starting to think that I"m cursed regarding good loot...

loot is just pure luck..theres ppl who killed 3 gdks and got 10 scales, theres some who got none after killing over 100... same goes for acklay...

people arent ASKING for that high...that aint the problem...buyers r..im quitting the game anyways...so this doesnt bother me anymore..real life just got a bit more interesting..and it doesnt cost me20 bucks a month
