Thread: I can't dock with other ships! Please help.

I know I'm probably missing something. Can anyone tell me why I am not allowed to dock with the Imperial Shuttle on the duty mission -- Yavin system: Steal patrol routes from Imperial spy shuttle. I have had the same problems with some other missions. I've tried inspection then docking without fireing a shot and shooting them up until all their systems are disabled, but they never allow me to dock. Does someone have some input on this? I'm at a standstill until I can complete this mission.

anytime i need to dock, i'll target the reactor, and destroy that, so that i get the ship is disabled message, then i can dock with the shp when i'm close enough to dock.

I know of this mission you speak of.. not all imperial shuttles have the item you're looking for.. until you find the right shuttle, you will not be able to dock any of them.. just keep looking.. its hit and miss

I've done some mission were it sound like you need to dock but all you need to do is disable the ship. You'll get an update screen message of NPCs boarding with the ship to take it over.
