Guys, i have been doing some missions and have been getting some bonus faction.....Is this for anything special or what is it used for if anything???

cries of alderaan was the old 3 part story that was tried when the game was still young. depending on what side won each part on your server, you get a couple bonus faction points if you are on that side.

Yeah, you get a 10% bonus to every faction mission you run since the Rebel's kicked some Imperial Arse a few months back (with a little help from the devs /wink). However, this was supposed to be temporary if I remember correctly, however it has never gone away. I think they had intended to end the bonus once the next story arc came around, but they decided to end the story arc concept and focus on permanent content instead. I'm not sure if the Bonus XP was overlooked or if it is 'working as intended'...
